I feel damn good lately

it’s amazing what a few simple changes to your daily life can do for you.

a few weeks ago I got fed up with how I felt every day. I was always tired, smoking more often, sore, sleeping like shit and so on. so we both decided to start living a little healthier. nothing crazy, just simple things. and holy fucking shit after a week and a half I feel so much better. it’s not a whole lot and it’s been pretty easy (with exception of spending more on better groceries) so far.

• sleep more

• take vitamins and fish oil two times a day

• walk the dogs for about 45 minutes during the week

• buying natural meats without any awful bullshit in them

• drinking more water

• down to one smoke mon-fri and one per meal on weekends

• eating “primal” which from what I can tell it’s just like paleo but it sounds badass and I can eat all the meat I want.

it seems like a lot but it hasn’t changed anything at all day to day and I feel afuckingmazing. I’ve got plenty of energy, I feel great after meals, I sleep better, and I’ve lost about 7 pounds. that last bit isn’t super important, but it’s nice. I just like feeling better above anything else. for once it’s not about losing weight, just getting healthy.
